Rock Set, Lamp Post 7/10/10
My, it felt good to plug in with some derelict friends and rock the hell out again. Don't get me wrong, I've loved the solo acoustic shows that have made up the bulk of my gigs these past couple years, but I got into playing rock 'n' roll from Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out, not The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (if you know what I mean).
Big thanks to the esteemed members of the New Jersey Society of Professional Drinking Journalists who turned out, particularly to charter member Steve Strunsky and his band the Lonesome Prairie Dogs who shared the bill and their equipment. Thanks to the gentlemen who said they skipped a Spanking Charlene show to hear us last night(!!) Thanks to Joe for booking us. Thanks to Michael for another great poster. And thanks, as always, to Minerva, plus her husband Tom for the bottle of homemade wine.

A post-show report put several attendees at a nekkid, rooftop pool party in downtown Jersey City, but it's unconfirmed at this time.

It’s always an honor to be among nekkid professional pool partiers, backed by my band, The Looseknit Preppy Hogs.
The Gone Sneezin’s were great, as always, led by Not Sneezin.
Let’s do it again tomorrow!
Now, let us pray. A-men.
